Marcondes Machado Advogados was founded in 1920 by Alexandre Marcondes Filho, who was succeeded by his son Alexandre Marcondes Neto and currently by his grandson Nelson Marcondes Machado. After three generations of expertise, Marcondes Machado is regarded as one of the most traditional and reputable law firms of the country.
The firm is comprised of professionals highly specialized in corporate law, a field in which it has been recognized for its integrity in the conduct of numerous cases that were under its responsibility, particularly in matters of corporate reorganization and debt administration.
Marcondes Machado is represented in international organizations of its specialty, since it’s member of American Bankruptcy Institute, INSOL International (London) and International Bar Association.
To better serve its clients, Marcondes Machado has recently formed an affiliation with Nehring Advocacia, a professional firm established since 1967, composed of a group of lawyers basically devoted to high-level corporate assistance in the various Brazilian laws, both to national and international enterprises.
In addition to its office in Sao Paulo, Nehring Advocacia has a second office in Paris, which was opened in 1976, to service a growing European clientele.
Its major partner, Carlos Nehring Netto, is a former member of the Court of the International Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris (ICC), and also a member of the International Council of Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) and the London Court of International Arbitration.
The firms integrate, as well, the International Lawyers Network, which is presently maintained by law-offices of around 50 (fifty) different countries, allowing its clientele to obtain, in such locations, legal assistance and professional guidance of excellent level.
