NEHRING E ASSOCIADOS - ADVOCACIA, formerly NEHRING, VIDAL E MENEZES DOS SANTOS - ADVOCACIA, is a professional firm established in São Paulo, Brazil, since 1967, composed of a group of lawyers basically devoted to high-level corporate assistance in the various Brazilian laws, both to national and international enterprises. Due to the nature, dimension and quality of the services rendered, as well as to the history of its members, the firm came to represent a quite substantial European clientele, which caused, back in 1976, the establishment of a second office, located in Paris, France, in order to advise possible interested people as to foreign investments in Brazil. Presently, we have a correspondent office in France. The basic philosophy of the firm is the deepest understanding of the nature of each client's activities, its purposes, market and cultural environment, aiming to a constructive and practical evaluation and analysis of its business issues and their juridical aspects. Our purposes are to create a long-term relationship with the clients, through clear and functional advice. The fundamentals of our activities are integrity, discretion and rational criteria, in order to attain the quality standards which are essential to the good rendering of services. NEHRING E ASSOCIADOS - ADVOCACIA is linked to multiple national and international organisations and entities acting in many legal fields, utilizing, whenever necessary, the corporation of external advisors. From 1987 through 1996, two of the firm's senior partners served as the official and substitute Brazilian members of the Court of the International Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris (ICC), and Carlos Nehring is also a member of the International Council of Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) and the London Court of International Arbitration. Our firm integrates, as well, the International Lawyers Network, which is presently maintained by law-offices of around 50 (fifty) different countries, allowing its clientele to obtain, in such locations, legal assistance and professional guidance of excellent level.
